Skip to contentPublic speaking can be intimidating for anyone, but especially for pre-teens and high schoolers who are still developing their communication skills.
As their world expands public speaking is a critical skill our children should develop as early as possible. Public speaking helps them to organize their thoughts and feelings, develop emotional intelligence, build social awareness and effectively communicate their ideas and opinions in a manner that is informative, persuasive and compelling.
Additionally, public speaking helps build self-confidence, develop social skills and establish meaningful relationships leading to greater personal and professional success.
The greatest gift we can give our children is to build their sense of self-worth and instill confidence to accept new challenges.
